FATORI is a phone security app published by Newsoft PLC (RC 1643996), Abuja, Nigeria. The public app is free. The organisation portal and bank edition are paid services under a separate agreement with each organisation.
FATORI reduces the risk of remote-access fraud. It is not a guarantee against all fraud, spyware or surveillance. It cannot stop screenshots inside other apps, cannot promise to detect advanced spyware, cannot stop someone photographing your screen, and cannot stop a scam in which you read a code out to a caller. Keep using the security advice of your bank.
Portal access codes are issued to organisations after payment. Each code opens the portal once and is non-transferable. Codes obtained other than from Newsoft are void.
FATORI is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Newsoft PLC is not liable for losses arising from fraud, data loss or device problems, whether or not FATORI was in use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Data protection matters are also subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection where data is held in Switzerland, as set out in the privacy policy.
