This policy explains what the FATORI app and this website (new-soft-group.net) do with data. It is written in plain language on purpose. The short version: the FATORI app collects no personal data.
FATORI is made by Newsoft PLC (RC 1643996), Suite 409, Adamawa Plaza, Central Business District, Abuja, Nigeria. Newsoft is the data controller for this website and for the organisation portal. For privacy questions write to privacy@new-soft-group.net. Our servers are hosted with Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland.
FATORI has no sign-up. It does not ask for your name, phone number, email address, or any identifier. We cannot tell one user of the app from another.

FATORI periodically downloads a signed risk list from https://new-soft-group.net/v1/risklist.json. This is a one-way download over HTTPS. The request carries no identifier and no information about your phone or your apps. Our server records, as all web servers do, the IP address and time of the request in a technical log kept for a maximum of 7 days for security and capacity purposes, after which it is deleted. We do not use this log to identify or profile anyone.
Because we hold no user data from the app, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
The website uses no cookies, no trackers and no third-party analytics. Standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) are kept for a maximum of 7 days for security purposes.
If you email us, we keep your message and our reply for as long as needed to deal with it and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
The portal is a paid service for banks and other organisations. For it we hold the organisation's name, the contact details of the people the organisation nominates, issued access codes and payment records. We hold this because we have a contract with the organisation (Swiss FADP; GDPR Article 6(1)(b); NDPA 2023 section 25(1)(b)). Portal account data is stored in Switzerland. We keep it for the life of the contract and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting law requires. Portal intelligence (blocked-attempt destinations) contains no data about individual app users.
Website and portal data is stored on servers in Switzerland. Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection. For Nigerian organisations, Newsoft relies on the contract with the organisation and the safeguards in this policy as the basis for holding portal account data outside Nigeria under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023; the Nigeria Data Protection Commission may be consulted on this basis.
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data about you, and to complain to a supervisory authority. For the app this will usually not arise, because we hold nothing about you. For the website or portal, write to privacy@new-soft-group.net. We answer within 30 days.
FATORI is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children; the app collects no data from anyone.
If a future version of the app ever sends any data off the phone, this policy and the Google Play data-safety declaration will be updated first, and the app will tell you before it does so.
